A little about me: My family has owned and operated businesses in the Lamar area since the 1950s. I am a hometown boy from right here in Lamar, MO. My grandfather was Tommy Maberry, who started Maberry’s Barbershop in the 1950’s; and his father, Alan, followed in Tommy’s footsteps. My mother, Becky Backs, owned and operated Denim & Lace for 33 years, also on Lamar square. It is safe to say that entrepreneurship runs strong in my blood. I married my beautiful wife, Elie Jeffries, in 2014, she had our daughter in 2017 & son in 2020.
